Welcome to The Great Play Place, where every child’s journey begins with care, creativity, and community. Established in Killeen, Texas on April 19, 2022, our story is one of dedication and passion. What started as a vision for a fun and nurturing environment in November 2021, blossomed into reality when we received our state license and opened our doors full-time on May 31, 2022. Just six days later, on June 6, 2022, we welcomed our first eager learners, marking the beginning of countless adventures.
Initially a labor of love between a mother and daughter, our commitment to excellence quickly grew, leading us to expand our team within a month. The Great Play Place’s commitment to providing a welcoming and safe environment for ALL has led us to serve over 100 children and counting.
